Compression Survival
Compression Survival reads what survives when an answer is made smaller. It does not ask whether the short answer is good. It asks what the short answer decided was expendable.
Purpose
Compression is one of the most common real-world deformations: summarize it, shorten it, bullet it, cut it in half. Good compression removes redundancy. Bad compression removes the caveat, warrant, or live tension that made the answer honest.
What it adds
CS composes with Ground Drift and Frame Movement. It does not re-measure facts or frame. It adds the pieces uniquely threatened by shortening: reasons, live tensions, and hedged claims.

Calibration status
The smoke test separated clean compression from collapse. The 6-control calibration then showed the survival dimensions working: lossy compression collapses warrant, collapsed compression flattens tension, and claim-upgrade exposes hedge loss. The single class label is secondary; the survival rates are primary.
